It is true that Brazilian beauty Nathalia has received a lot of mileage for her item number in Department, but Madhu Shalini does not feel that her co-star’s growing popularity is a threat to her career growth.

'Nathalia is doing an item number in the film. Nathalia's and my audiences are different and I am not worried of any competition here. I am not competing with her,' said the Andhra Pradesh beauty.

On her forthcoming films, she said, 'I am doing a Telugu film Poga opposite Navdeep and its going to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller. I am hapy to bag a good role the film. I am looking forward for its release.'

Recently, Madhu Shalini celebrated Ugadi in a grand manner. 'The first thing I tasted on that day was the special pachchadi we make at home. It's made of neem leaves, green mango, chillies, tamarind, jaggery and salt symbolizing life, which is a melange of all tastes. I simply loved it.'
