Madonna Fan Arrested

A retired firefighter from New York City who was longing to meet pop diva Madonna has been accused of spray-painting several adoring messages all directed at Madonna on the sidewalk right outside her apartment. The man is also accused of having a 7 1/2-inch ice pick with him as well.

The man has been identified as Robert Linhart. He has been charged with both graffiti as well as of the criminal possession of an ice pick, which was recovered from his car. The person is also charged with the offence of resisting to arrest. This happened exactly outside the building lying close by the famous Central Park.

Linhart, 59, was tried this Wednesday in the Criminal Court of Manhattan. His bail was set for an amount of $20,000 in cold hard cash.

Cheryl Bader, the defense lawyer says that there was no defensive tactics from Robert Linhart's side and added that adoring Madonna doesn't account as a criminal offense.

As per the cops, Robert Linhart was arrested this Tuesday. He was caught when he was spray-painting his affectionate messages to the singer and was constantly asking her to meet him.
