Man demanding ransom from the Bhatt's arrested by cops

Just a day ago news regarding Mahesh Bhatt receiving death threats from an anonymous caller started making the rounds of internet. An FIR was registered by the Bhatt family and it just took twelve hours for the Police to catch the culprit. Sandeep Sahu, an unemployed 24 year old youth and an aspiring actor who dreamt of making it big in Bollywood was arrested at Hussainganj area of Lucknow.

He introduced himself as Babloo Shrivastava while making the threat call. In one of the text messages which Sandeep had sent to Mahesh Bhatt he mentioned that the demanded money should be deposited in a bank account which had the address of Lucknow, this is when Police tracked him and soon contacted the Uttar Pradesh's special task force who caught hold of the man.

An officer was quoted saying as, "Sahu said he planned the offence when his relatives began to harass him for money upon his return to Lucknow three months ago. After getting hold of Bhatt's contact, he impersonated Srivastava, who was once Dawood's aide and is in jail."

Sandeep Sahu switched many jobs earlier. He borrowed 7 lakhs from his relatives to open a shoe shop but failed miserably. That's when he shifted to Mumbai and got his hands on a famous comedy show in 2016. He also got into contact with one of the filmmaker making B grade films but had to return to Lucknow later. Apparently had secured few celebs number during his stay in Mumbai and made use of the same to compensate for the loss he suffered.
