Mallika to appear before high court

10th July 2013

Mallika Sherawat has been tapped with another controversy, but this one dates back to December 31, 2009.

Apparently, a member of Baroda Bar association has issued a bailable warrant against the actor for obscenity.

The actress has been charged for being provocative in public when she was performing on the occasion of New Year's eve at a 5 star hotel in Mumbai.

Narendra Tiwari, former president of the Baroda Bar association, saw her performance on television and immediately issued a warrant.

She will have to appear before the Chief Judicial Magistrate on August 19, failing which she might be issued a non-bailable warrant.

The actress is currently busy shooting for her film 'Dirty Politics' based on the controversial Bhanwari Devi Murder Case.
