Mark Ronson: White trainers gave me confidence

31st October 2010

(Cover) - EN Star Style - Mark Ronson used to feel the most confident when he was wearing bright white trainers.

The coveted producer has always known how important a strong image is, so began watching what he was wearing from a young age. The star had a distinct idea of how he wanted to be perceived when he was growing up, and refused to wear shoes if they were old or dirty.

When I was a kid if I was wearing a new pair of trainers that were really white I thought I looked better, he said. Even if I was in a club where no one would ever see them its the confidence they give you.

Mark likes to experiment with his clothing, and never sticks to one look for too long. Music is also very important to him, and has always influenced the kind of outfits hes worn.

My style changes all the time I look back on photos of myself and cant tell which year it was but I know exactly what music I was listening to, he laughed to ASOS magazine. Growing up, I dressed like the people in my favourite bands. When I started DJing I dressed like a wannabe Beastie Boy. (C) Cover Media
