(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Matthew Morrison appreciates his well-educated and mature male fans.

The 32-year-old American actor-and-singer stars as teacher Will Schuester in hit US musical comedy series Glee.

The star has won a legion of fans since starring in the popular show, but says his older male fan base is the most "respectful".

"I tend to get the moms actually," he confessed in an interview with Attitude magazine. "I also get a certain type of college-educated, older man. They're a little more polite. They're very respectful."

Matthew insists Glee is at times quite bizarre. Despite the sometimes complicated and thought-provoking plots, the star thinks his character Will keeps a sense of normality.

"It is a comedy at the end of the day and I am the straight man," he explained. "I'm the one with the foot in reality who has to be the normal one so that you believe everything else, however wide and extreme it is around him. It's all pulled through him. You get the truth from him." (C) Cover Media
