(Cover) - EN Star Style - Mel C has recalled how comfortable she was being Sporty Spice.

The 37-year-old singer found fame with girl group the Spice Girls, where she earned the nickname Sporty Spice thanks to her athletic prowess and fondness for casual attire.

Mel now has a more elegant aesthetic, and admits she sometimes longs to put one of her trusty pairs of jogging bottoms back on. When selecting some of her ultimate fashion pieces, Mel chose a red Adidas tracksuit, similar to those she wore when performing with the Spice Girls in the 90s and early 2000s, and notably when the band reunited for their comeback tour in 2007.

I wore this when rehearsing for the reunion tour and it was really nice to get back into a tracky. I remember how comfortable it was to be Sporty Spice! she laughed in British newspaper The Daily Mail.

Mel is still close to her Spice Girls band mates Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Geri Halliwell. She counts a lilac Chanel handbag that the group gave her as a birthday present as one of her most reassured items.

The other Spice Girls bought this bag for my birthday when we were on tour. Its vintage Chanel and Id wanted one for ages, so this has great sentimental value for me, she gushed. (C) Cover Media
