(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mel Gibson says that bad guys are "always more fun."

The actor, who has a bad boy reputation himself, is playing a villainous arms deal called Luther Voz in the upcoming movie, Machete Kills.

And the Australian star tells Extra TV that he loves nothing more than sinking his teeth into a wicked role.

"He's an evil genius, he's kind of like a Bond villain in the gutter," Mel says of the character he plays.

"Bad guys are always more fun, and if you can find the bad in a good guy, it's always more fun."

But Mel says he's not just good at being in front of the camera and revealed he has some culinary skills like Luther, who is also a gourmet chef.

"My specialty? I make the best hamburger in the United States," Mel boasted.

Director Robert Rodriguez specifically wrote the role for Mel saying that he "was the only one I was interested in."

The movie, which hits theatres next year, also stars Danny Trejo as Machete, Charlie Sheen as the President of the United States and Sofia Vergara will portray a dominatrix. (C) Cover Media
