September 23, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Hollywood veteran actor Michael Douglas has channeled the poise of cruel business raider Gordon Gekko as he walked on the red carpet at the premiere of his newest movie, 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.'
This Academy Award-winning actor of late announced that he's undergoing operation for throat cancer. He also posed for several photos Monday night in the company of his co-stars like Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan. The movie's director Oliver Stone also joined them. Douglas posed for photos, but never gave an interview.
Shia LaBeouf, his co-star calls Michael to be a wolf as he never noticed the 65 year old to show any fatigue or weakness while the movie, 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' was being made.
Oliver Stone said that the health situation of Michael is no doubt tough, but he seems not to lay back and he's fighting as much as he can. The original 'Wall Street' film was released in 1987 and Oliver was also the same guy who had directed it. 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' is but a sequel of the original 1987 flick. The movie had Charlie Sheen who plays the role of a stockbroker who is extremely lusty for success; this is where Douglas won an Oscar for his role as Gekko.
