Michael Jackson's son to make first solo outing

22nd September 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Michael Jackson's eldest son will make his first independent venture into the limelight this autumn.

Prince Michael Jackson, 14, will attend a charity auction in Berlin, Germany, for the Tribute to Bambi foundation on November 10. Prince will be there to support the auction of a handwritten composition of Michael's song Bad.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit needy children, a subject that was famously dear to Prince's late father's heart.

"Prince Michael Jackson will walk the red carpet and present the manuscript on stage surrounded by children," a charity spokesperson told People magazine.

Unlike in previous public appearances, Prince will not be accompanied by family at this event. Beyond his team of bodyguards, Prince is going solo.

"He won't be travelling alone, but he won't have any family members with him," the source said.

Prince and his two siblings sister Paris, 13, and little brother Blanket, nine, have been left behind by Michael. The sheltered trio are rumoured to be in talks for an E! network reality show. Whether or not the project will move forward has not yet been officially confirmed. (C) Cover Media
