Michelle Williams' Oscar preparations get a "little chaotic" with her excited daughter around.

The My Week With Marilyn star is preparing to wow at the annual Academy Awards this weekend.

Her fellow actress and friend Busy Philipps says Michelle's six-year-old Matilda and her own daughter Birdie Leigh also like to get involved with the Oscars buzz.

They like to make their presence known when the ladies are preparing for their big day.

"Both of our daughters will be around, that's always a little chaotic," Busy told E! Online at Sir Charlie Chaplin Oscar party at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.

"The little girls like to see their moms get dressed up and then they don't want us to leave."

The children will be kept entertained when their mothers leave for the prestigious ceremony though.

"Matilda's got all her family with her and my daughter will be with them and my husband," she dished. "So I think they're going to be together. We'll have them have a little play date. So cute."

Busy also revealed that Michelle has chosen her much-anticipated Oscars gown. The Cougar Town star has remained tight-lipped about the dress though.

"She has," she teased when asked if Michelle has decided on a gown. "We both have."
