Mila Kunis insists there is "no crazy love story" between her and Ashton Kutcher.

The two stars have been linked over the last few months, after they were seemingly spotted enjoying several dates together.

They have been friends since starring on TV programme That 70s Show, but Mila insists that is where their relationship ends. She is also keen to quash speculation that she was more than just pals with her Friends with Benefits co-star Justin Timberlake.

"Listen, we hang out. We've known each other for 15 years. We have mutual friends. We're comfortable with one another. That's it! There's no crazy love story, nothing more. I am very private and I've never commented on my personal life. Realistically, if I was seeing somebody, do you think I would tell you?" she told the latest edition of UK magazine Elle.

"I would still give you the bulls**t answer of, I don't comment!' But the truth is, I am really single. I don't go out because when I do, everybody sees me. It's not like I'm having an illicit rendezvous because there's no such thing as secret in my life. And by the way? Justin Timberlake is one of my best friends, to this day, OK? Friends, nothing else!"

Mila would love to be a normal single girl but knows that isn't possible. She explained it's hard to find places where she could get to know someone. The main options are either her home or her date's house, which she isn't that comfortable with.

"The concept of being single and in my position is just not workable. I couldn't even go on a date if I wanted to!" she laughed.

Mila famously dated Macaulay Culkin for eight years before their 2011 split. She looks back fondly on that relationship and thinks it ground her.

"Being settled so young really helped," the 28-year-old said. "I wouldn't take anything back in my life, not one thing. I think it all shaped me to be who I am today."
