(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Minka Kelly's television programme Charlie's Angels has been axed.
Minka starred alongside Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh in the American show which aired on ABC.
The adaptation of the famous 1976 series premiered on September 22. After broadcasting four episodes, ABC was not impressed with the show's ratings or the critics' mediocre reviews.
The network confirmed to Us Weekly that they have shut down production. ABC will air the three remaining episodes and then take the show off their roster.
This is the latest in a string of difficulties for Minka. Her mother passed away from colon cancer in 2008. The actress also broke up with boyfriend, professional baseball player Derek Jeter, after a three-year relationship this August.
Minka has not yet commented on the show's dissolution.
Her upcoming independent comedy film Searching for Sonny will premiere at the Austin Film Festival in late October. (C) Cover Media
