Loved the trailer and the making? You're in for a BIG disappointment!

Bela Bhansali Sehgal fails to deliver everything she promises through the trailers, songs and making promos. The movie does not bring out the best in super-talented Boman Irani nor does it portray director-turned-actor Farah Khan as the “out there to go-get-it” kind of girl!
The story takes you through a predictable journey and the 'ups and downs' in the life of bras and panties salesman Farhad Pastakiya (Boman Irani). The 45-year-old golden-hearted Parsi bachelor is shy and unintentionally seems atrocious, (very parsi-like) at times. The only women in his life are his dominating mother, Nargis and doting grandmother, Siloo. Relatives and one notable 'Dostana' friend played by Kavin Dave, have given up on his love life. However, Farhad, with no outstanding dialogues to deliver or rib-cracking jokes, is still hopeful.
Then one day, and the day does come pretty soon, a 34 B walks into his shop and for both, conveniently it is love at first sight. Shirin Fugawala (Farah Khan), 40-year-old, so-called-bubbly, straightforward, over-the-top action hero-cum-Parsi trust secretary is Farhad's soulmate.
The story takes our lead characters through gun-firing, gate-climbing, tight-hugging and lip-sinking to some horrendously misfit playback songs. Jeet Ganguly as music director seems to have missed the point with the songs conveying no meaning.
As the story progresses, destiny intervenes in the form of a demolished water-tank, and all jokes seem a lull when hell breaks loose as Frahad's mother Nargis realizes that her son's dream girl is her sworn enemy!
Ah, Bollywood, not again!
With a star cast comprising of every Parsi in B-Town, 'Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi' is an OKAY film, with nothing noveau to offer. It gets stretchy, unrealistic and way-too dramatic at times. However, the lowest point of the film, has to be it’s typical, randomly out-of-the-box ending which ruins the wee bit of logic that could have been made out of the film.
Boman and Farah, as protagonists, fail to entertain, let alone inspire. Cinematography by Mahesh Aney is shockingly shaky on more than one occasion, beginning from the first sequence of Boman driving down on his 'Sholay'-ishtyle scooty. The pans are too long and often visually displeasing.
‘Dukes Mangola’ steals the show of the film. The in-the-face advertising of the product, ruins several moments in the film that could have been portrayed with much greater ease and reality.
'Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi' does not tell you a fascinating love story, it doesn’t paint a unique romance. Instead, it tells you an everyday, filmy pyaar-vyaar story with characters who are older, fatter but say the same unrealistic, cheesy one-liners to one another and keep disappointing you again and again!
Alas! We expected so much more from Sanjay Leela Bhansali with the dialogues.
The film is a real disenchantment!
