It was announced that 'Naan Ee', the first straight Tamil film of the top Telugu director S. S. Rajamouli, will hit the screens on May 30th. However, the release of the movie starring Nani and Samantha has now been delayed.
'For every film enthusiast out there who has been waiting for Eega (Naan Ee), I apologise as we are not releasing on 30th of this month. I know it is disappointing,' Rajamouli wrote on his microblogging page.
He further stated, 'I am disappointed myself. We underestimated the amount of time for computer graphics. I am extremely happy with the quality of computer graphics for the shots we received so far.'
'I want to ensure the same quality is maintained for the rest. Everyone is working 24/7 to get the film out as soon as possible,' he concluded. Produced by PVP Cinema, 'Naan Ee' has music directed by Maragadhamani.
