Naga Chaitanya has signed an action entertainer. Titled 'Bhale Tammudu', the film to be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh is a remake of Tamil movie 'Vettai', which had Madhavan and Arya in lead roles.
Originally there were plans to dub the movie in Telugu, since all the four lead actors - Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul - are popular in Andhra Pradesh. However, a fresh decision has now been made to remake the movie.
'Bellamkonda has acquired the remake rights from the original producers UTV Motion Pictures. He has signed Sunil to play a crucial role. While the Tamil version was helmed by Lingusamy, the Telugu version is to be directed by Dolly, who had earlier directed Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam,' sources say.
At present, Naga Chaitanya is shooting for R. R. Movie Makers 'Auto Nagar Surya'. Also in the pipeline is a movie with his father Nagarjuna and grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao, which has been titled 'Trayam'.
