Natalie Portman has enjoyed a celebratory dinner ahead of her wedding.

The actress and her fianc Benjamin Millepied sparked speculation they had tied the knot in February after she was spotted sporting what appeared to be a wedding band.

It's now thought they are planning to wed on August 5, with the pair taking their parents out for a meal over the weekend to celebrate.

The group dined at Prime restaurant in Long Island, with Natalie tucking into a vegetarian feast.

The actress and her dancer beau have 13-month-old son Aleph together, who was the centre of attention during the soiree.

"[The grandparents] took turns walking their grandson around the dining room and outside patio," a source told New York Post.

The happy couple are rumoured to be holding their ceremony in Big Sur, California, although no other details are known at the moment.

"[Big Sur] is one of Natalie's favourite places - whenever she needs a break from LA, she comes here to escape," a source told In Touch recently.

"This wedding is for their closest friends and family. It will be a very relaxed affair. They're not sending out invites. Natalie may not even buy a new dress!"

It's thought the couple exchanged bands before their son was born but are now looking forward to making things official.
