Playing a side role, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has definitely carved a niche for himself in the Bollywood film industry. Starring in films like 'Kahaani' and 'Gangs of Wasseypur', he has managed to bag another film yet again.

Nawaz will be seen playing the role of a tycoon in Sanjay Kumar's 'Black Currency'. The film seeks to expose the business of exchanging false notes, where the actor will play a shrewd, manipulative tycoon.

However, unlike other rich men who are sauve and stylish, Nawaz will be seen in a different avatar who will look petite yet sharp. Sanjay has been writing the script for almost three years. This happens to be a real incident that Sanjay experienced when he was handed back a false Rs. 500 note when depositing in a bank.

Besides Nawaz, the film will also star Minissha Lamba, Prashant Narayanan, Ravi Kishan, Rituparna Sengupta, Yuvaraj Parashar and Kapil Sharma.
