Nayantara has denied rumours that she put forth conditions to be part of Tamil actor STR aka Simbu starrer Vaalu. STR and Nayantara were in love a few years ago and then they got separated.

A section of the media carried reports that the actress reportedly demanded a whopping Rs. 3 crore as her salary (which is unheard of for a south heroine), to be part of Vaalu.

Her second condition was that Simbu should not speak to her personally or come to her caravan area. However, she denied it as rumours and said that she would have done the film if she had any dates to spare.

But since she is committed to the Telugu offers, she denied to act in STR film. Vaalu, directed by newcomer Vijay, is produced by S S Chakravarthy of NIC Arts, who earlier worked with Simbu in Kaalai.
