Alleged former couple Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra were put in an awkward situation when they were being asked questions on working together in Filmmaker Abhishek Chaubey's next film. 

Till now, only Shahid has been finalised for the film; the script of which was locked recently. 

It was rumoured that Priyanka has been approached to star opposite her former flame in this film. But the filmmaker and lead star both are upset with such rumours. They claim that as the script was just recently locked, no questions of them approaching actresses arise.

Though the two stars have claimed repeatedly that as and when they get a good script, they won't let their personal equation come in the way of professional commitments. 

Currently, Shahid is busy shooting Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Haider' after which he will start working on his next with Alia Bhatt. 

The one with Abhishek is slated to start by the end of this year. As of now the team is on a lookout for the leading lady.
