The Trinidadian female rapper, who sports bright pink striking locks, recently celebrated her 26th birthday in Las Vegas, America, and prepared for the big party by getting a manicure.

The outspoken artist has recently released her debut album Pink Friday - which is also named after her favourite theme and colour.

So when it came to being the centre of attention on her birthday, the star didnt want to let her guests down with fingernails that didnt coordinate.

Before her pink-themed birthday bash at Tao in Las Vegas, Nicki Minaj needed a manicure, the New York Post reported. She hopped into the Canyon Ranch spa at the Venetian and grilled the staff on how many shades of pink they had available.

But Nicki did not stop at just covering herself in pink to make sure she stood out on her special birthday occasion.

The rapper also bought a themed cake for the night, which she attended in designer stiletto heels.

After being brought a cake in the shape of a mini pink Corvette, [Nicki] Minaj and her show-stopping booty ended up barefoot in the club after standing in Louboutins for hours, the publication reported. (C) Cover Media
