The female rapper hosted her own event in Miami to celebrate the start of 2011, and Drake hosted his at a separate location.

However, as soon as the New Year clock struck, Drake reportedly abandoned his party to go and join Nicki. The pair were then seen dancing closely and canoodling for the rest of the night.

"Right after the clock struck midnight, Drake left his party at the W South Beach and dashed over to Nicki's Mot & Chandon-sponsored bash at Mansion," a source told Life & Style Weekly.

The singers were seen "dancing and cuddling all night, and were eventually spotted leaving together at 4am.

Rumours that romance had ignited between Nicki and Drake surfaced in August, when Drake jokingly tweeted the pair had got married. "Please refer to @nickiminaj as Mrs. Aubrey Drake Graham and don't stare at her too long," Drake wrote. "She's finally mine." (C) Cover Media
