20th June 2018

Fans across the world are eagerly waiting for the Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer '2.0' but the wait is a bit longer now. Stuck for VFX post-production, sources confirm that the film adds 100 cr more for the VFX work. With this, we are about to witness the most expensive film in the history of Indian Cinema and the wait seems worth it now.

This Shankar Shanmugam directorial is reported to be made with a budget of 400cr with over a 14 cr spent at its grand music event launch at Dubai. With this, the film will easily surpass 'Bahubali' which was made in a budget of 250 cr.

Shankar wants to make sure that the film reaches international standards when it comes to VFX and with the addition of such a huge amount, we hope it will promisingly be VFX dominant film. The film revolves around the mobile addiction of this generation as per the reports.

Delaying the release date thrice, the makers have come up with the final date and yes we can witness this high-octane action-packed film on  Republic Day 2019. Marking Akshay Kumar's Tamil debut, the film also stars Amy Jackson in the pivotal role.
