(Cover) - EN Star Style - Nicki Minaj says wearing her trademark over-the-top wigs makes her feel happy and excited.

The female rapper is well known for her outrageous and colourful stage looks and has been wearing hairpieces of all shapes and colours for her performances.

Nicki - who has reportedly just signed a deal to tour with Britney Spears on her upcoming Femme Fatale tour - explained she loves having lots of different styles to choose from.

My wigs are ever changing in height, width, colour, size. They make me feel happy. Wearing them makes me feel that I can be a different person every day and that is kind of exciting, she told American publication People.

The 26-year-old says it can be tricky to choose the right wig to match her outfit or mood every day. Luckily, she has the help of her dedicated hair stylist David Terrence, who custom-makes the incredible creations.

Sometimes I wake up in the morning and I am like, This is a high-top day, or, This is a bob day, but when I get my clothes on thats when I see, Nicki explained, Terrence, my hair dresser, is always on the prowl. He is always making new stuff, and we talk about new styles as the days go by.

And the rapping sensation isnt afraid to recycle, she doesnt think twice about wearing her wigs again and again.
