8th January 2011

January 8, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage loves the forests and this was the chief reason, why he gave his nod to his most recent release at the box office Season of the Witch. Well, the film was a box office dud and the critics completely wrote off the performance of Nicolas Cage but the actor has no regrets because he loved every moment of filming Season of the Witch. Forests were however, not the only attraction for the actor to take up the role of Behmen, a warrior in the Crusades. Also inspiring him to say yes to a project which critics felt did not do justice to the acting skills of Nicolas Cage was the fact that he would get the opportunity to enact a knight on-screen.

Nicolas Cage reveals in a statement to the media that he has been acting a knight ever since he took up acting at the backyard of his home! Therefore, playing a knight on-screen has been a dream come true for the Hollywood actor. Nicolas Cage is almost surprised that it took him, so long to bag the role of a knight in his three decades long career in Hollywood.

In an interview to the media, Nicolas Cage says that filming work of Bad Lieutenant In New Orleans left him stressed out as he had to shoot in extreme hot conditions. Therefore, the actor almost lapped up the role in Season of the Witch which required him to shoot in dark forests which also meant cold conditions. Never mind, the film was not a box office success, now we know what Nicolas Cage loves!
