(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nicole Kidman says her husband and daughter are her favourite people in the world.

The respected actress tied the knot with Australian country music singer Keith Urban in June 2006 following her high profile divorce from fellow movie star Tom Cruise. The pair have two-year-old daughter Sunday Rose together and Nicole has two adopted children, Isabella Jane and Connor Anthony, from her previous marriage.

The Academy Award winner has touted her husband and kids as the most important people in her life as she reflects on life after 40.

Im in a state of absolute wonder, having all this in my life, I never thought this was going to be me in my 40s. A new baby... I just love the energy of young children in the house, it is just lovely. It puts me in a state of humility and compassion. I just want to have my husband, my baby and Bella and Connor. For me, theyre my favourite people in the world, the 43-year-old told Fox News.

Nicole stars in film Rabbit Hole which is released in America later this month, where she plays the role of a mother rocked by the death of her only child. In her personal life Nicole confirmed she and Keith are very protective of their young daughter though their approaches may differ.

We have different roles; fathers and mothers have very different roles in a childs life. Ultimately Keith is very protective of us as a family. But I call her [Sunday Rose] my little cub.
