The style icon married Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden in a star-studded ceremony at her father Lionels Los Angeles estate on Saturday.

Fashionistas across the globe have been desperate to find out what beautiful Nicole wore on her big day, and according to E! News the star went for something rather retro, as had been predicted.

She wore a turtleneck lace dress, 80s style, a source told the website.

It was also reported the gown had been custom-made in New York by exclusive label to the stars Marchesa and didnt purport to the stereotypical Princess-style wedding robe.

Stylists had been trying to guess how the blushing bride would look on her big day for weeks. Her decision to opt for something vintage-inspired comes as no surprise as shes famed for her bohemian 70s-influenced attire. Prior to the big day rumours circulated that Nicole had been torn between Marchesa and iconic French label Chanel.
