(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nicole Scherzinger has compared Simon Cowell to Elvis Presley.

The 32-year-old pop star has been in the headlines a huge amount recently as last week it was reported she will be replacing British singer Cheryl Cole on the judging panel of US X Factor.

Nicole had originally been announced as the reality music competition's co-host alongside Steve Jones, although she is now reportedly joining entertainer Paula Abdul, producer L.A. Reid and music mogul Simon on the panel instead.

Nicole is a huge fan of Simon's, and has compared the pop tycoon to iconic music star Elvis Presley, who passed way in 1977 and was affectionately known as the King' by his fans.

"He's just great. He's like the Elvis Presley of television," she laughed in an interview with more! magazine.

Many of Nicole's admirers will be looking forward to seeing which outfits she chooses to wear in her role on US X Factor as she's famed for her elegance and toned figure. The show is due to air in the US this September, and the beauty has a good idea of how she can combat any insecurities.

"Who doesn't have an ugly day every now and then? Where you just don't feel great inside, you know? But for me, when I wake up and I have those days, I try to focus my energy on other people," she explained.
