Nicole Scherzinger felt "desolate" without Lewis Hamilton, says a source.

Nicole and Lewis sparked reports they are back together after being spotted holding hands in Los Angeles recently. The pair appear to be back on track after their romance came to an end in October last year.

And now sources reveal the couple are thrilled to be back in each other's arms.

"Their time apart made them realise how much they wanted to be together they both felt desolate without the other. Nicole's now willing to do anything to make things work," a source told UK magazine Closer.

"They're very much in love and everyone's hoping it will be for good this time."

Nicole and Lewis blamed their busy work schedules for their break-up. While Nicole was juggling her music and her role as a judge on the US X Factor from which she has now being axed Lewis was based in Europe for his Formula 1 career.

"Nicole says she's even willing to move to Europe to be with Lewis full-time, which is a big sacrifice," the source added. "They've realised they can't live so far apart if they want the relationship to work. It's early days, so they're not planning kids, but they wouldn't have got back together if they weren't serious."
