Since the past few weeks, there has been gossip all over Bollywood and Kollywood, that Vijay will be playing the lead role in Salman Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger' remake in Tamil.

It was also added that Jayam Raja will be directing the film.

Finally, filmmaker Jayam Raja has responded to the news and thrashed out all rumours on the remake rights being bought for 'Ek Tha Tiger' in Kollywood.

"I have no plans to remake 'Ek Tha Tiger' with Vijay, the thought has bnot even been routed through me," said Jayam Raja.

Salman Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger' which released on August 15th has recently crossed the 200 crores mark and is still running successfully. We'll just have to wait for further confirmation from filmmakers in Kollywood and Tollywood, as to who is making an 'Ek Tha Tiger' remake, if there is going to be one, that is!
