Noel Gallagher jealous of Liam reviews

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Noel Gallagher is annoyed that his brother's album received better reviews than the last few Oasis records.

Liam Gallagher formed his own band, Beady Eye, with other Oasis bandmembers following Noel's exit from the chart topping group. Their debut record, Different Gear, Still Speeding, was released earlier this year and was generally warmly received by critics. And Noel, who will release his solo album High Flying Birds later this year, is annoyed at his brother's band's reviews.

"I haven't heard it," he told a press conference in London. "But I've read a few of the reviews, and I've got to say that it's got better reviews than any of the Oasis albums have got in the last ten years. And you can't begin to imagine how annoying that is... It's alright, innit?"

Oasis released their critically acclaimed debut Definitely Maybe in 1994 and followed it up with smash hits (What's The Story) Morning Glory? and Be Here Now. However, the four subsequent albums suffered from middling reviews. Liam stated recently that Beady Eye were better than his previous band, insisting, "I wouldn't do it if didn't think we weren't better." (C) Cover Media
