(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Olivia Wilde has filed for divorce from husband Tao Ruspoli.

The American actress filed the papers last week in L.A. County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences, according to TMZ.

The 27-year-old married Tao, the son of the late Italian Prince Dado Ruspoli, in 2003 on an abandoned school bus. At the time the couple eloped to have a secret marriage with Olivia admitting their impulsiveness was risky.

However, according to reports the couple, who have no children, had been struggling to make their union work due to work commitments. The decision to split is thought to have been mutual as the pair attempted to work through their differences.

"They have been living apart after trying for quite some time to make their relationship work," a source revealed to the People at the time of their split. (C) Cover Media
