Om Puri gets involved in domestic violence against his wife.
Things have not been very cordial between Om Puri and his wife Nandita for a while and the couple has been living separately.
It is believed that Om Puri is having a clandestine affair with another actress, a reason why the couple has parted ways. Nandita has taken the custody of their son Ishaan, though Om gets to visit him.
When Om dropped in to meet his son, Ishaan was taking tuitions and so the star was asked to wait. In the mean time, the actor started making a call to his mysterious woman.
When Nandita heard Om talk to his girlfriend, she objected and that made the actor so furious that he started throwing artifacts at her. One of them hit Nandita and it was also witnessed by their traumatized son Ishaan.
A fuming Om left the house shouting "I am a Celebrity and no one can touch me". In the mean time, Nandita was rushed to Cooper hospital and later she filed a report at Versova Police Station.
Om was heading to Hollywood for his biggie opposite star Helen Mirren; however the police have informed the airport authorities not to allow the star to fly out of the country.
Nandita also accused Om of not providing child support and also of not being a responsible father. The police is still trying to trace the actor as he has not come forward and surrendered.
