(Cover) - EN Showbiz - A movie could be made about the infamous 1999 Club New York shooting P. Diddy recently settled civil actions over.
Last month, the 41-year-old rap mogul settled the civil case against him stemming from the infamous shooting at the New York nightspot over ten years ago.
P. Diddy was acquitted in the criminal case related to the incident, which saw three clubbers getting shot by his former protg Jamal Shyne' Barrow.
According to the now-shut-down club's owner Michael Bergos, a Hong Kong group would like to recount the incident in a book and film.
"It's going to be my version of what happened," he told New York Daily News.
Michael apparently refused to sign a confidentiality agreement about the events, although claims Diddy's lawyers repeatedly requested that he did. He believes that any eventual tell-all documentations will thrill the public.
"There's all sorts of stuff that the rest of the world doesn't know happened that night," he added.
Michael shut Club New York around six years ago, and explains he hasn't spoken to Diddy since the 2001 criminal trial. He also claims the rapper, who was with then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez when the incident occurred, "never thanked me" for persuading security staff to testify.
A representative for Diddy has declined to comment. (C) Cover Media
