Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is all set to pay an ode of respect to one of those stars of the industry who played a key role in her career.

The actress who was a marketing executive with Yash Raj Films, was offered films by Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra.

It was under their guidance that she went on to do films as she made her debut with the biggest banner in the industry.

The actress who reportedly was in very good terms with Yash Chopra, has been signed to pay homage to late filmmaker at a specially organised awards show.

The event aims to honour NRIs who made the nation proud with their work on global front. As Yash Chopra single-handedly took Indian cinema to the international turf, the organisers deemed it important to pay a homage to him for which they signed Yash Chopra protegee, Parineeti Chopra.

As a tribute, the actress will be seen dancing to the chartbusters from his films. The event has been organised by veteran Bollywood actress Poonam Dhillon and philanthropist Anil Muraka.

Parineeti confirmed that she jumped on the opportunity the moment it was offered to her. "Yes I am very honoured that Poonamji asked me to pay a tribute to him. I hope to do a good job," she said.

The event which is slated to be held this weekend will not only have performance by Parineeti but also Alia Bhatt and Ayushmann Khurrana will host the show.
