(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Paris Hilton says that she feels "violated" after a man she already has a restraining order against allegedly trespassed on her property.

James Rainford was arrested over the Fourth of July holiday weekend after nearby photographers saw him trying to look into the socialite's Malibu beach house.

But for once, Paris was happy that the paparazzi were around as it was them who recognised James from previous incidents and notified the police.

She told US show The Insider she was relieved that the photographers were following her on that occasion because they came to the rescue.

"Even though they're annoying sometimes, I'm so thankful they were there because who knows, he could have totally walked in," Paris said.

The 30-year-old, who is currently dating The Hangover II director Todd Phillips, says the whole ordeal has been "really frightening".

Paris has been the victim of multiple stalking incidents and as a result she is a lot more guarded.

"Yeah I am scared," Paris confessed. "There's so many crazy people out there... I'm always watching behind my back. Especially when it's your home and it's your private space where no one's supposed to come... You feel really violated." (C) Cover Media
