Paris Hilton has upset her neighbours in her exclusive Los Angeles enclave, it is reported.

The 30-year-old socialite hosted her annual Christmas party last Wednesday which infuriated those nearby that she did not hold it on the weekend which would have been more thoughtful.

More than 100 people turned up to her Mulholland Estates mansion which is in a gated community and caused a huge back up of cars of people trying to get in.

"Paris' parties are legendary. She always goes all out," a source told RadarOnline. "Non-invited guests that were going to visit other people's houses had to wait almost 35 minutes in line on a Wednesday night, just to get into to see the person they were going to visit."

"Paris does provide valet parking for party guests, and this clogs the streets around her house. Paris is the neighbour from hell."

Her homeowner's association had also prevented her from filming her now cancelled reality series at the home so she had to use her sister's Nicky address instead.

"Paris had proven to be at that point, very disrespectful to her neighbours with the loud parties, and constant streams of people coming and going from her house," the source added.

"And let's not forget the criminal element that has besieged Paris since she moved in. Her house was burglarised multiple times, she had a knife wielding stalker that tried to break into her house."

Other celebrities that live in the exclusive community include Charlie Sheen, Slash and Denise Richards.

"Paris' neighbours are hoping she puts her house up for sale and moves out," the source said. "They just want her to go away, pack up and leave."
