The famous Tollywood actor, and most cherished star, Pawan Kalyan celebrates his birthday today. On this special day, let us go down memory lane, remebering his work for the Indian cinema, especially in Telugu.

Pawan, is the son of Konidela Venkata Rao and the younger brother of Chiranjeevi and Nagendra Babu. He was given the title 'Pawan' symbolizing 'Hanuman', after which he is popularly known as Pawan Kalyan.

Trained in martial arts, Pawan holds a black belt in karate. He has performed many stunts in most of his movies and also performed publicly at auditoriums.

He started off his career with the movie 'Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi', after which he continued to star in several action and entertainment movies like, 'Tholi Prema', 'Thammudu', 'Badri', 'Kushi', 'Johnny', 'Gabbar Singh' and many more which has portrayed his best performance.

Pawan Kalyan is married to Renu Desai, who has worked with him and also designs his costumes in most of his movies. The couple have a son and a daughter.

Besides acting, Pawan also engages in direction, writing and choreographing in the Telugu cinema.
