(Cover) - EN Showbiz - PJ Harvey says she wont accomplish all she wants to in her lifetime as it will be too short.

The singer-songwriter is renowned for transforming her look and sound for each album and has experimented with such diverse musical styles as rock, pop, electronic and folk. She is also known for changing her appearance from album to album and incorporating her differing styles into the album's artwork, music videos, and live performances.

The 41-year-old has worked hard at building her reputation for being one of the music industrys most credible artists, although she admits she will probably never be completely satisfied. Its absolutely exhausting. I work very hard to try and get anywhere close to what Im wanting to achieve, and theres so much still yet to do. I know I wont be able to get it all done in my lifetime. But thats an exciting feeling cos its something to aim towards, she told Q magazine.

PJ is primarily a vocalist and guitarist, but is also proficient with a wide range of instruments including piano, organ, bass, saxophone, and autoharp. The singer takes her job as an artist very seriously and admits she isnt interested in taking holidays. No, I never think about taking time off because theres too much work to do. And because its my job. This is what I do. This is the thing that I feel I can do best, why Im here on planet Earth.
