He is playing the villain in Dabangg 2, a sequel to Salman Khan starrer Dabangg, which was one of the super hits of Hindi film industry. Prakash Raj is also there in Rowdy Rathore, a remake of Telugu blockbuster Vikramarkudu.

Also, he has been roped in to play a crucial role in the remake of Amitabh Bachchan's memorable movie Zanjeer. The film will be simultaneously made in Hindi and Telugu, with Ram Charan Teja playing the lead role in both the versions.
