Preity Zinta has been one actress who has always been vocal about her feelings.
The actress recently posted her thoughts about being a celebrity on her microblogging page which brought her in the limelight.
"When i got into movies i never thought i would be a big star. Just wanted2 get it right & be financially independent. It was a job after all," Preity wrote.
The actress tweeted back to back about how she felt about all the things celebrities have to go through by paying a price for being famous.
"As i became famous i was required 2forget who i am & become the image I portray. People changed around me even though i tried hard 2 be me."
"Everyday i try to fight my PERFECT IMAGE & cling to the real me. Expectations grow & Im not allowed 2 age, be sad, crib or have a bad day !"
"I MUST smile all the time, be perfectly behaved, let any1 say or write anything about me even if its not true & be grateful that I'm famous."
She further went ahead and said that she is discussing all these things as she sees many kids wanting to be famous.
"Im telling u all this cuz off late all i hear young kids say that when they grow up they want 2be famous ! Wish it was that simple ;-) Ting," she wrote.
"Perverts morph my face over half naked bodies & circulate it on da net & defame me & my modesty yet i MUST not complain cuz im a celebrity," the actress added.
Not afraid about being judged, she also wrote, "Hope ur getting seriously uncomfortable & emotional by my brutal honesty? 2day i dont speak as me but as da collective voice of Celebrities."
"If ur feeling bad 4 us dont get too sad cuz we can shop till we drop & buy everything money can buy again & again! Hahahahahah :-) ting," Zinta added.
Concluding her thoughts, she further wrote, "Now that I've given u a glimpse of the other side hope u all will be more compassionate & sensitive towards all celebrities as i spoke4 all."
However, Preity's honesty was taken as an outburst and hence the actress took on to her microblogging page once again and wrote, "Am also surprised 2 see my chat on Celebrity yesterday being written about as an outburst etc.. Is it So difficult2 accept Honesty ????"
"Will appreciate if people just took things at face value rather than trying 2look 4hidden meanings or clues. #keepingitsimple that's all :-)," she wrote last night.
