Dunno Y...Na Jaane Kyon is one film, whose lead actors have become very popular and won awards much before its release despite the fact that both the lead actors are newcomers. All these popularity is due to its controversial storyline that deals with homosexual relationship. However, the film hit the screens today.

Director Sanjay Sharma has tried to portray the gay relationship in its best form through this film. His aim is to establish the homosexual relationship in a more realistic manner. Newcomer Kapil Sharma plays the role of Ashley, who is the oldest son of Anglo-Indian family. Veteran star Kabir Bedi plays the role of his father and Ashley is a closet gay. His father has taken shelter in an ashram ten years ago leaving his family and Zeenat plays his mother, who toils hard to meet both ends meet. The veteran hot actress is making her comeback in Bollywood through this film. Another veteran actress Helen will also be seen in an important role in this movie.

The on screen kissing scene between the two gay characters was the main reason behind all the speculation and protests against this movie. However, since its releasing today now the viewers will decide on the fate of the movie.

This is the first Indian film to deal with such a sensitive subject in this manner after the Delhi High court verdict on article 377 which supports the gay relationships.

Indian viewers have matured with time and we believe most of them will accept the film easily and whole heartedly. Hope, no further problem is created by the so called protesters after they watch the movie!
