Of lately Deepika Padukone’s sudden unannounced ouster from the film "Race 2" raised eyebrows as producer Ramesh Taurani went on the record to exclaim that he and his whole team was extremely upset with her unprofessional behavior. He even claimed that they were rigorously looking out for a replacement as the casting woes had stalled film’s shoot.

It was made clear that Priyanka Chopra was approached to step in Deepika’s big shoes and the process of finalizing the details were on. However nothing was officially announced and now we hear producers of "Race 2" are so desperate to pull off the casting that they are ready to hike Priyanka’s price as well.

It is said that they are ready to pay her an astronomical price so that she joins the cast and kick start the stalled shoot. Reportedly the production house is ready to pay her a humongous Rs. 5 crore as her fees however she has decided to stay mum over her remuneration. It seems only time will reveal all the mysteries it is just the time to wait and watch.
