Priyanka Chopra is one of Bollywood's busiest actresses of the current lot as she has been juggling to manage her acting and singing career, out of which the latter has just taken off.
The actress recently took up singing professionally and started off on a high note by releasing her debut single album at an international level. As an actress too, she made waves on the international front when her film 'Barfi' was chosen as India's official entry for the 85th Oscar Academy Awards.
But alas the excitement was short lived as the film couldn't make it to the final nine. However, Priyanka exclaims that she has no qualms over it and is happy with the way the film and her role was conceived by the audiences worldwide.
"I am very sad with the film's exit from the race. We as a team are sad about it. But I am glad the film was considered and sent as India's official entry to the Oscars. It was a very special film for us. We made it from the heart and I am really happy for the kind of response I've got for my character 'Jhilmil' in the film," said Priyanka.
In 2013, she will be seen leading Mary Kom's biopic that is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, 'Krrish 3', 'Zanjeer' remake and 'Gunday'. Citing this mega line up Priyanka confesses that the New Year will be a hectic one for her.
"I'll start work on the Mary Kom project in mid-next year and I have to begin training for that. I'm in the middle of shooting both Zanjeer and Gunday right now. Apart from that I've just finished shooting for Krrish 3," she added.
Meanwhile she has taken a few days off and will be spending the New Year with her dad who is not well these days.
