Actress Priyanka Chopra should be on top of the world, after her first item number 'Babli Badmaash' has earned loads of appreciation. But instead, the actress has been a bit upset these days.
PC's last release 'Barfi' that won big at all the award ceremonies held this year, was thoroughly disappointed when her film was completely ignored at the 60th National Film Awards.
The film has swept big awards at all the popular award functions but it came as a huge surprise when the film didn't get any attention from the National Award Jury.
Priyanka confessed that though she is disappointed with the ignorance towards her film but she respects the jury's decision. "I am disappointed with the fact that Barfi didn't win a National Award. However, it is up to the jury why they did not give the award. We have no say in it," said Priyanka.
Her cousin Parineeti Chopra did win a Special Jury Award by the jury and Priyanka is ecstatic with her success.
Priyanka has won a National Award for her performance in the film 'Fashion' in the past. And with Parineeti joining the marquee, Priyanka is more than happy.
"I am extremely happy for Parineeti. We now have two National Awards in the Chopra Family," chuckled Priyanka.
