His trip to Coimbatore later this week will be Superstar Rajinikanth's first outing ever since he returned to home from Singapore where he successfully underwent treatment for a kidney-related ailment. What is attracting the top actor towards the textile city, is his respect towards the spiritual guru Swami Dayananda Saraswati, whose Satabhishekam (80th birthday celebrations) is planned in a grand manner from July 20th to 22nd.

"Rajini is a great admirer of Swami Dayananda Saraswati and the Superstar shares a close rapport with the Swamiji. He has given his consent to take part in the Satabhishekam," says sources in the know.

Rajinikanth arrived at the Chennai airport from Singapore on Wednesday night. After being discharged from hospital in Singapore on June 15th, the superstar had stayed back to recuperate. He was accorded a warm reception by thousands of fans at the Chennai airport.
