Superstar Rajinikanth on Wednesday night visited the Lord Venkateswara Temple on Tirumala hills with his family members, and offered prayers and other rituals.

Talking to journalists, he said, "I am thankful to all my fans who prayed for me while I was undergoing treatment. By the grace of God, I am fine now and also shot for Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra.One. Doctors advised me to rest for another three months before I resume shooting for Rana. This is a thanksgiving visit to the Lord. My Deepavali wishes to all."

The top actor was accompanied by wife Latha, daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya, sons-in-law Dhanush and Ashwin, grandsons Linga and Yathra, brother-in-law Ravi Raghavendra and top Telugu actor Mohan Babu, who is a close family friend.

A huge turnout of devotees thronged the temple zone to have a glimpse of the Superstar. Mohan Babu made enough arrangements to ensure that Rajini and his family had a good darshan of the Lord. Rajini also offfered Thulabaram at the temple.
