Actress turned politician Kushboo Sundar on Wednesday could not secure bail in a case relating to alleged violations of rules during the April 13 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections campaigning, as the Judges in two courts were reportedly on leave. 

Following a recent High Court order which asked her to get bail by appearing in person in the Andipatti Magistrate Court, the star campaigner of the DMK came to the Court on Wednesday. However, she was asked to go to Periyakulam court, as the Magistrate at Andipatti, Sundararajan, was on leave.

When she went to Periyakulam court, there too she was told that Magistrate Sankar was on leave. So she left the place without getting bail. 

In her bail petition, Kushboo submitted, she belonged to a popular political party and was playing an important role as a campaigner for it. She contended that the case registered against her was false and she was in no way connected to the case.
