Superstar Rajinikanth on Monday left for Kerala, to start the second schedule of shooting for his forthcoming film Kochadaiyaan which is being helmed by his younger daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth.

According to sources, the shooting will start from today and will go on for a couple of weeks. Meanwhile, Mediaone Global Entertainment, who are producing the film, have announced that Kochadaiyaan will hit the screens in September.

Earlier it was said that the film will release only in November, for Deepavali. However, a statement from Mediaone said the movie is slated for release in September this year.

"The first schedule of shooting in London has been completed and the filming in India has commenced," Mediaone Global Entertainment said in the statement. With A R Rahman scoring the music, Kochadaiyaan has Deepika Padukone as heroine.
