After sharing the screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in Ra One, Superstar Rajinikanth will now pair up with Aamir Khan, but not for a feature film. Both top stars will be seen together in a public service advertisement to create awareness for child health in India.

The ad film is part of the Union Health Ministry's special awareness advertisement campaign about the malnutrition of children in India.

"They are part of the awareness campaign and will be seen in an ad film for the same. We know this will be Rajini Sir’s first commercial in about 20 years. He says that he’s only doing the ad since it is for a good cause," a source was quoted as saying.

The advertisement will have more impact than ever as Rajini usually stays away from commercials and will be seen in one after two decades. His last ad was in the 1980s, supporting the cause of polio eradication.

It is said that Aamir who paired with the South legend in Aatank Hi Aatank gave his immediate nod for the campaign on knowing that Rajini has given his consent.
